We have arrived!!

Home base of this excellent adventure - Kandern, Germany in the heart of the Black Forest Region. We awoke early the next morning and strolled the streets. The night rain had washed the streets clean for us. We found the town center, a quaint little square with shops and benches and the strangest of trees. The town was readying for a summer festival and banners had been strung, I'm sure they were actually for our arrival. We strolled back to the house about late morning where Donna promptly returned to her slumber for some rest while I chatted with Heather until Rob arrived home and Donna awoke.  We piled into the car and off we went for an afternoon adventure.
