Xmas road trip stop #3

Our last stop was Mr. Jenks. I don't even remember the last time I was there.

Lola got to visit with Zeak and William. It didn't take her long to put them in their place and set the rules. Just like Ellie would with Copper.

Lola liked the railing to separate her and the boys!

Daddy, make sure they behave!

Mission accomplished! Jenks sign is up!

Xmas road trip stop #2

Our next stop was in St. Johnsbury to Memere's. I think Brad was most excited to hang Memere's sign for her.

One of Lola's favorite people is Memere. You can see how happy she was to see her. The both talked about how many days left till Groton!!

One more photo of Memere standing proud with her new sign. It was nice to be able to spend some time with her this time of year. We can't wait for our week of camping!! The count down has begun.

Xmas road trip stop #1

We had three stops to make to deliver xmas gifts this year. The first was at Mom and Dad Madden's house.

We arrived Sunday morning to visit with Butch and Kelly and exchange gifts.

This year for xmas we made oak house signs for some of our family and friends. It ended up being a little more work then we had thought, but we were very proud of the final products.

We were able to spend the night and enjoyed a nice dinner and some fun playing with our Wii. Beverly even played with her bummed knee that she just had operated on in the beginning of December.

Policeman's Ball

For all the times I have attending photographers banquets, Donna had the opportunity to attend the policeman's ball with me. It also gave me another chance to show off how great I look in my tux.

There was even an awards ceremony. Donna waited all night to be invited up front to give a speech or receive an award. But her name was never called. She was bummed!!!!

This is day shift 1. Or part of it anyways. Wait we were'nt ready!

Traditions

It wouldn't be xmas without my little blue box from Tiffany's. I am a VERY lucky Ninage (Godmother). Every year my little man, Jelani gives me this special turquious box with the red ribbon.

Here is Jelani opening up his photo album of all the images from our Groton Camping trip this summer. 160 days till Groton!!!

Mommy Tina! It was soooooo nice to spend the day with Tina and Jelani. We just don't get enough time with them!!

Happy Holidays!!

Here it is! Our 2008 card! You really had to be there to appreciate the humor in it all. I included on the back cover one of the images with the COWS. Yes, that is right... COWS. Us in a field with Lola and Bella and 15 COWS. Needless to say only a photographer like Jay Kennedy could get these images. Jay to this day you still AMAZE me!!

Like many we cut back on our holiday cards this year. If you really missed our card let me know and I have a few extra I can still send out, otherwise enjoy our e-card!!

GoodHales Xmas 2008

This year we only had Cait for 2 days and they were before xmas. So we pretended on the morning of the 23rd that it was Christmas morning. It doesn't matter what day you celebrate, it is the fun of being together to enjoy it.

High Honors

Caitlyn had made a goal at the beginning of the year to be on high honors for her 8th grade year. She wasn't sure if she made it and found out last minute that she had reached the first step in her goal for high honors for the 1st trimester.

Here is Caitlyn with her other 8th grade class mates that also received high honors. All the students and family members were invited to celebrate the accomplishment of the high honor receptants.

The proud parents with Cait!

VPP Holiday Party!

Below is a slide show from the VPP xmas party that Gillian did. We did a Yankee swap and 2 out of the 3 years Brad has gotten number ONE, which means after all the gifts are open he gets to pick from any. Thank you Gillian and Ed for being the host and Ed making his famous chile !

Lola and Al

With the recent visit of Al, it was fun to see Lola respond to him. Al is a fan of pets and always enjoys his stay with us to visit Bella the cat and my Miss Ellie and Kodiak. This was his first visit to meet Lola. Here are some photos Al took of Lola when he was here. You can see her peaking at him as she naps with her Daddy. She doesn't know what to really think of him

OK, Mister.... this is MY house and it has RULES!!

My mommy says you might want to play with me, is this true??? This is my favorite Teddy, do you want to play??

Why don't you want to play with my Teddy outside???? What do you mean you think it is cold out, it is WINTER. Really???? It is not cold where you live in the winter, what fun is that??

You should really try this snow stuff, come on and play with me it is SOOOO much FUN!!!

Hot tub temperature 101 degrees

Relaxing with loved ones ...... PRICELESS

Mom's 69th birthday!

Hazel turned 69 today!! Cait and I went down to visit and bring presents.

Mom always takes so much time unwrapping things. She must still be in great depression mode, save, save, save, don't waste. This paper could be used again

Photos, xmas cards, frames,

Nana shows Cait some of her sewing handi work. The cloth is some that she had previously made clothes for Caitlyn with when she was a baby. (see she does'nt throw away anything)

Nana and Cait......... any family resemblance????

Dressing up the Tree

As promised here is the tree all dressed up! Cait got here earlier on Friday then we planned on due to the snow storm. We were able to get the tree trimmed on her first night. We did have help, all the way from Florida. Al was up to learn blogging and work on his website with Donna. What a welcome to arrive during a snow/ice storm. We put him to work too, trimming and taking photos.

Let it SNOW!!!

The day has come!! Brad has been waiting for the snow to come so that he could test our snow blower.

OK, so maybe this isn't going like I wanted it to....

PHEW.... it started!!!

This wasn't the best test of the blower being that we got more ice than snow. But all and all we think we will be able to save some money this year not having to have a plow guy!!

MEMS Winter Concert

Geeze another year has passed by. It just seems it was just a  few months ago we were at this concert. I have a few more photos this year being that my point and shoot camera died at the concert last year.

Here is Caitlyn's friend Phoebe (right rear)in the 8th grade band. They really did a great job with the holiday music!!

The main event that we came to see, Cait singing! The 8th grade chorus did more numbers then any other group. The did a total of 5 songs. Cait's favorite was Viva La Vida, her Dad's was Jingle Bell Rock and mine was The Twelve days after Christmas.

This is the WHOLE 8th grade Chorus. I think most of the class must be in it!!

This is from Viva La Vida, the boys were pretty entertaining with their dance moves!

Here is Brad and Caitlyn. If you havn't noticed Cait is no longer wearing glasses!!! She got contacts a few weeks ago. She looked great in her simple white shirt and black skirt with pink trim!
