Groton 2009

Once again The GoodHale's made their annual pilgrimage to Groton. This year would certainly be one of firsts. We were excited to be reunited with out summer families.






Here's first #1..... after Caitlyn decided not to come to Groton this year, Lola got her own bed!!!! no sharing what little space was left on our bed.




First #2...... The other Hale's!!! My brother Greg and his family Tanya, Richard, Rachel and Renae came up and stayed for a couple nights. I know they had a wonderful time and speculated everyday wether to stay a day longer.






First #3 ..... Jelani's parents see Groton for the first time. Mark and Tina made the drive from NYC to drop J off for his vacation. J's baseball team made the finals (they won!!) and his games were on the day we were to leave for Groton so mom and dad had to drive him up. What great parents.




First #4..... I brought prizes and hid several caches in the park and divided up the kids into two teams with adult support.







With the coordinates sets and gps's in the teams hand, they went off in search of treasure. After both teams recovered their two caches, all the treasure was gathered and distributed to everyone. Great job guys....
