Canoe season has started! We even had the courage to start the first trip out with Lake Bomoseen. You see for anyone that has been in a canoe, large lakes with lots of boats is not fun with two adults and 2 dogs.
This year Brad made his own boat rack out of PVC piping. The canoe slides right now and now NO noise when driving! The other good news is that we can leave the canoe on the Jeep being I don't need the Jeep for seasons, now that we have the Traverse.
The girls certainly remembered what we were doing and couldn't have been more excited.
We did our 1.5 mile on the treadmill and elliptical this morning and off we went to the lake to get in some time on the water before Brad had to nap for his 6PM-6AM shift.
First swim of the season for the girls too! The did awesome listening to us being there were a lot of people coming and going.
Can't complain about this view!! We LOVE Vermont!!!!
We got talking to the 2 students working for the state checking boats for milfole and asked one if she would take our photo. Look how GREAT we are looking, if I do say so myself. I have lost a little over 30 lbs since January and Brad is at 21, but 37 since last June. YEAH US!!
We ended our trip out the lake with a picnic lunch and Rutland bound for Brad to get some rest for his 3 day work weekend!!
